Loss of salary insurance

A staff member who has completed three years of continuous service is granted sick leave of up to nine months (three months if less than three years of continuous service) on full salary and nine months (three months if less than three years of continuous service) on half salary, in any period of four consecutive years.

GPAFI's loss of salary insurance in partnership with MGEN pay a compensation, equivalent to 50% of the insured salary from the moment when the staff member is granted sick leave on half salary. The compensation for loss of wages is paid during maximum 24 months, in any period of four consecutive years.

The admission is limited to staff members who have neither cumulated more than 100 days sick leave during the last four years, nor more than 20 days during the current year (nor more than 10 days if less than three years of continuous service).
