GPAFI provides insurance in case of non-professional injuries in which benefits are:
- Unlimited expenses for treatment during five years following an accident
- Lump sum in case of disability following an accident
- Lump sum in case of death following an accident
The insurance coverage can be purchased for one or other of the benefits listed above that are independent of each other and at very attractive premium.
Benefits for unlimited expenses for treatment during five years following an accident are complementary to a basic scheme, such as the staff health insurance of an international organization.
This coverage may be particularly useful for international civil servants whose basic plan includes exclusions to the payment of benefits. This is particularly the case in accidents resulting from the practice of risky sports, which are not covered by the basic scheme (see "Amendment to the Internal Insurance Regulations" of 01 June 2020 - article VIII - benefits ).
Invalidity/death capital can be insured up to 4 times the annual salary per tranche of CHF 100.000 for the international civil servant, and up to a maximum of CHF 300.000 for the spouse per tranche of CHF 100.000.
