The staff medical insurance of UNOG, as well as those of other international organizations, reimburses generally only the expenses for treatment in case of non-professional injuries.

On the other hand, payment of benefits may be subject to exclusions. This is particularly the case of accidents resulting from certain sports or mediacl expenses resulting from a traffic accident involving a third party.

The insurance in case of non-professional injuries provided by GPAFI allows:
- to cover the expenses for treatment, unlimited and during the five years following the accident,
- to cover accident related to the practice of whatever sport,
- to cover traffic accident involving a third party,
- to insure death and/or disability allocation.
